As an Expert Strategy, M&A Transaction, you will join the Chief Financial Officer function. Specifically, your team will identify, select, analyze, and execute asset and company acquisition and divestment transactions, contributing to the achievement of business objectives in terms of portfolio strengthening and decarbonization.

Key activities:
  • Contribute to the management and execution of acquisition and divestment transactions within the scope of expertise. The process ranges from identifying opportunities and initiating the preliminary investigation process, through the submission/receipt of offers, negotiation, authorization, contract execution, and closing of the transaction.
  • Contribute to the coordination of the multidisciplinary working group established to implement the operation.
Required characteristics:
  • Master's Degree in Economics/Finance
  • Minimum three years of experience in the field
  • Knowledge of techniques for the economic valuation of assets and companies
  • Knowledge of the financial structure of M&A transactions
  • Knowledge of general principles of financial/balance sheet analysis, corporate finance, business planning
  • Knowledge of international tax/accounting principles
  • Good knowledge of the English language
The profile is completed by:
  • Knowledge of the principles, techniques and methods for structuring and implementing M&A transactions
  • Knowledge of the relevant contractual provisions for M&A transactions
  • Basic knowledge of the energy industry and dynamics inherent in the energy transition
  • Proficiency in using PowerPoint and Excel
