Expert Quantum Simulation Researcher (IT)

Join Eni as an Expert Quantum Simulation Researcher at Eniquantic, contributing to the development of advanced classical simulation tools for modeling the dynamics of neutral atoms in optical tweezers, bridging experimental hardware and algorithmic strategies for quantum computing.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize classical simulation frameworks for neutral atoms interacting via Rydberg states.
  • Perform large-scale many-body simulations using high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructures.
  • Collaborate closely with experimental teams to model and mitigate noise sources in quantum hardware.
  • Collaborate the algorithms team to study potential applications of Eniquantic’s quantum processor using classical simul.
  • Monitor and integrate state-of-the-art advances in quantum simulation techniques and HPC methodologies.
Required Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Physics, Physics Engineering, Quantum Information Science, Computer Engineering.
  • At least 3 years (including any PhD) of research or work experience in the classical simulation of quantum systems, preferably involving Rydberg interactions.
  • Experience with the simulation of noise sources in neutral atoms quantum processors.
  • Experience with tensor networks and related simulation techniques.
  • Hands‑on experience with HPC environments and parallel computing.
  • Experience in programming and using GPUs (preferential requirement).
  • Excellent programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, Julia or similar.
  • Excellent knowledge of English.
  • Availability for travel.
