A leading technology firm in Italy is seeking a mid-senior level professional for project coordination in the Oil and Gas sector. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience, strong vendor management skills, and fluency in English. Responsibilities include planning activities of expediters, defining strategies, and ensuring project resources are adequately assigned. This is a full-time role with a willingness to travel necessary.

Competenze

  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor activities of expediters/inspectors.

Responsibilities
  • To plan, coordinate and monitor all the activities of assigned Group of expediters/inspectors, according to the indications and guidelines of Head of Department and the Head of Post Order Management, ensuring adequate support to all projects;
  • To define strategies and action plans, in coordination with the Project Team, following‑up with implementation for the overall activities of reference, taking into account the actual and prospect projects pipeline;
  • To ensure the adequate assignment of resources to projects, also balancing internal and external contributions;
  • Upon the Head of Department request, to cooperate with Engineering in the Vendor qualification process;
  • To propose to and support the Head of Department in the definition of the agreements with the external agencies and contractors, in close coordination with the relevant Functions;
  • To cooperate, with the Head of Department and the relevant Functions, in the definition of cost/time estimates during the proposal phase, and for the budget and related updates during execution phases, for the area of reference;
  • To analyse and monitor the performance of resources in terms of costs and quality, pertaining to his/her commodity area and to develop corrective plans, if necessary;
  • To promptly communicate any problem/deviation to the Project team and to the Head of Department, in order to develop the best strategy to implement corrective actions, minimizing the consequences on the project results;
  • To keep him/herself up-to-date about development of assigned market area.
Requirements
