A leading consulting firm is seeking an experienced SAP EWM Consultant to support an S/4HANA rollout in Italy. This role involves providing hands-on support through to go-live, assisting with template support, and contributing to UAT and cutover preparation. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in SAP EWM rollouts, strong customisation skills, and must be willing to travel to Italy for key phases. This opportunity offers a competitive rate and the potential for contract extension.

SAP EWM Consultant - S/4HANA Rollout (Europe / Italy)

Location: Remote, with occasional site travel to Italy
Contract: 4 months initially (extension to 6-8 months likely)
Start: ASAP - onboarding within 2-4 weeks
Rate: Competitive, with flexibility

Opportunity

We're supporting a key SAP S/4HANA rollout in Italy, entering its final phase before go-live in around 4 months. The team needs an experienced SAP EWM Consultant to help work on open activities, support UAT and cutover, and ensure a smooth transition into live operations.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a complex, multi-site transformation within the Life Sciences sector, working closely with the EWM Workstream Lead and wider deployment team.

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide hands‑on support through to go‑live
• Deliver template support and assist the EWM Workstream Lead with open actions
• Contribute to UAT, cutover preparation, and go‑live support
• Maintain and update functional, design, and customisation specifications
• Engage with local and global teams to ensure readiness for deployment

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5 years' experience with SAP EWM in S/4HANA rollout environments
• Strong hands‑on customisation skills (a couple of minor gaps still to close)
• Experience with document management and functional/technical specification work
• Technically confident, with the ability to support future rollouts and collaborate closely with workstream leads

Travel & Location

• Open to candidates anywhere in Europe
• Willingness to travel to Italy for key phases:
• 1-2 weeks during UAT
• 1 week for go‑live
• Travel and expenses covered
