A leading manufacturing company in Italy is looking for an Environment, Health and Safety Senior Specialist to enhance EHS performance. The role includes ensuring compliance with laws, leading EH&S projects, and managing risk in operations. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in EHS within a manufacturing plant and are required to be fluent in Italian and English, holding RSPP certification.

• Proven experience in EHS management within manufacturing settings.
• Fluency in English and Italian is essential.
• Valid RSPP Certification required.

Environment, Health and Safety Senior Specialist

Improve EH&S (Environment, Health and Safety) performance to avoid accidents and injuries in the plant by providing leadership and expertise. Evaluate and reduce EH&S risks of operations and ensure EH&S compliance managing EHS KPI (i.e. UA/UC/NM/Eng-Waste Emission/Consumption).

Responsibilities

• Guarantee the compliance of the factory’s operations to the law requirements
• Manage the implementation of EH&S compliance audit, programs and strategies
• Implement and develop Safety Standards for manufacturing facilities
• Lead execution of specific EH&S projects aiming guarantee compliance with law and global corporate EH&S standards
• Manage and develop the organization for risk management (hazard recognition, risk identification and evaluation and control measures implementation) focused on risk elimination with preventive and proactive approach.
• Budget definition and capitals lease to ensure the achievement of the objectives
• Lead the WCM Safety and Environment Pillar
• Provide and lead guidelines for EHS Management System
• Lead execution of EH&S audits
• Support training and coaching on EH&S topics
• Pursue continuous improvement of EH&S performance (KPI monitoring)
• Industrial waste and emission management

Qualifications

• Previous experience in EHS in Manufacturing Plant
• Fluent in Italian and English
• RSPP Certification

Preferred skills and experience

• Master's degree (Engineering field is preferred)
• Knowledge of WCM Basis (or Lean Manufacturing) may be requested
