About BOMARINO

BOMARINO is one of the flagship ventures born within Maritime Ventures. It is a smart vessel assistant that centralizes all technical, operational, and maintenance data of a boat or yacht – turning disorganized documentation and fragmented support into a seamless, AI‑powered experience.

By connecting shipyards, owners, and service providers, BOMARINO helps users manage their vessel’s lifecycle with predictive maintenance, real‑time insights, and access to trusted suppliers and technicians. The platform is designed for both B2B and B2B2C markets, with early validation from potential users in the leisure and small‑commercial boating segments.

BOMARINO is currently in product development with strong traction and backing, and we are now looking for a CEO/Entrepreneur in Residence to lead the venture into the next phase of growth.

Tasks

As Entrepreneur in Residence & CEO, you will:

• Drive the venture from early‑stage product development to successful go‑to‑market execution
• Validate the business model and lead the first customer acquisition efforts
• Build and lead a high‑performing founding team
• Manage relationships with shipyards, owners, and tech/service partners
• Collaborate with venture building experts to develop financial models, pitch decks, and fundraising strategies
• Raise the remaining part of the seed round (50% already committed)
• Represent the company to investors and key ecosystem stakeholders

Requirements

• Strong entrepreneurial mindset and hands‑on attitude
• Experience in early‑stage start‑ups, ideally as a founder or first hire
• Proven ability to raise funds from angel investors and VCs, and to craft compelling, investor‑ready narratives
• 10+ years of professional experience
• Deep domain exposure to maritime, boating, and/or vessel maintenance
• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision‑making skills
• Fluency in English and Italian
• Willingness to re‑locate to Italy and work on‑site (optional Genova or Trieste)
