A leading engineering firm in Lombardia is seeking a Mid-Senior Reliability Engineer to develop advanced reliability analysis methods and ensure product compliance with various standards. The ideal candidate should have a master's degree in engineering, with at least 7 years of experience in relevant roles and proficiency in both English and Italian. This full-time position involves coordinating FMEA processes and working closely with regulatory authorities.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced reliability analysis methods for products and components.
- Analyse reliability data and compile detailed technical reports.
- Assess product compliance with customer specifications and contractual requirements.
- Lead local application and training of FMEA methodologies (SFMEA, DFMEA, PFMEA, Supplier FMEA).
- Coordinate FMEA updates in response to customer feedback and field claims, in collaboration with Group FMEA coordinators.
- Monitor and interpret evolving product safety standards relevant to the KB product portfolio.
- Contribute to product specifications from a safety and homologation standpoint.
- Define and evaluate test specifications in partnership with Testing Engineers to ensure product safety validation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with regulatory and certification authorities.
- Manage homologation processes, including documentation, registration, and liaison with local authorities and customers.
- Ensure rigorous documentation practices to meet all regulatory and internal standards.
- Drive continuous improvement of local engineering service processes.
- Lead and maintain site certification for EN50126 (RAMS for railway applications).
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in electronic, nuclear or aeronautical engineering.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in engineering services, product reliability, or safety compliance roles.
- Proven expertise in RAMS methodologies and functional safety standards.
- Strong command of FMEA tools and processes across design, process, and supplier domains.
- Experience with homologation and certification processes in industrial or transportation sectors.
- Familiarity with international safety and quality standards (e.g., CE, UL, ISO, EN).
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Fluent in English and Italian proficiency.
- Experience working in cross‑functional and multicultural teams.
