Prima is seeking an Engineering Manager to join our Price Engineering team. You will shape the technical roadmap, lead a group of 3 to 6 engineers, and ensure architecture aligns with business priorities and security standards.

Competenze

• 5+ years of hands-on development experience; Python preferred.

You'll be joining over +350 engineers across software development, infrastructure, operations and security. Fueled by curiosity, experimentation and collaboration, you'll help deliver scalable, impactful solutions that shape the future of insurance.

What You'll Do

• Define and drive the technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities for a team of 3 to 6 engineers
• Take ownership of architectural decisions, overseeing implementation while ensuring maintainability, reliability, scalability, and security.
• Support the development team in delivering high-impact initiatives on time.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth, while maintaining an engaging and motivating work environment.

What We're Looking For

• A strong technical background with 5+ years of hands-on development experience, Python knowledge preferred
• 2+ years in a leadership role, managing engineering teams, overseeing development processes, and driving technical decisions.
• Hands-on experience with cloud services and infrastructure, preferably AWS and DataBricks
• Ability to shape and adapt team processes and ways of working to align with the team needs
• Proven ability to mentor engineers by providing technical guidance, fostering critical thinking, and enhancing decision-making skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with non-technical stakeholders and external business partners.
• Proven ability to lead initiatives from inception to successful delivery, collecting business requirements and converting them into actionable technical ones.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Domain-Driven Design and event-driven architectures.
• Experience in designing and implementing microservices within large-scale ecosystems.
