Job summary

Birra Peroni s.r.l. is seeking an Engineering Manager to drive Capex planning, execution, and engineering governance within the Emeal cluster. The role emphasizes early management and vertical start-up to optimize capital projects across manufacturing sites.

The position requires a university degree in engineering and at least 10 years in manufacturing, with strong project management experience and fluent English. Rome-based HQ with a flexible remote work arrangement is offered.

Qualifications

University degree in engineering.
At least 10 years in manufacturing in multinational companies and consulting (F&B, FMCG and/or pharma preferred).
Proven experience in manufacturing project management.
Fluent English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

Ensure full application of AEI standards and define missing ones where required.
Build, certify, and leverage technical competencies, promoting internal expertise through Community of Practices.
Govern major projects above a defined threshold, applying vertical start-up and early management.
Define and manage KPIs for Capex execution and engineering performance.
Drive digital initiatives (e.g. SAP MII, S/4HANA, E-Sim) and coordinate asset replacement programs.
