Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking an Industrialization Engineer to support new product introductions and optimize manufacturability in a hybrid work environment. You will collaborate with design and manufacturing teams, develop process documentation, and lead small project teams as needed.

The role requires a BS in engineering, 3+ years in manufacturing, electronics background, and strong knowledge of IPC-A-610, soldering, and SAP. English communication and MS Office proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Professional background in electronics or related field.
  • Experience with New Product Introduction processes.
  • Knowledge of DFMA and Lean Six Sigma tools/methodologies.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Good written and verbal communication in English.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Proficient in IPC-A-610 and soldering processes.
  • Knowledge of coatings, underfill, and manufacturing test.
  • Experience with high density designs, through-hole and SMD, board stackup and pad designs.

Job Description

As Industrialization Engineer you will report to

Your Responsibilities:
  • Under general direction, supports the introduction of new products to the manufacturing facility following the RA Common Product Development (CPD) processes.
  • Work with Design and Manufacturing Engineering to ensure optimum product and process design for manufacturability.
  • Develop and processes associated documentation, estimates manufacturing cost, and initiate execution of prototype and pilot activities.
  • Work on issues of diverse scope where requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
  • May lead small special project teams within or external to the Industrialization group.
  • You will understand PCB assembly and manufacturing processes and constraints.
  • You will have understanding of design for manufacturing and design for compliance methodologies associated with printed circuit board assembly.
  • You will be proficient in IPC-A-610 and soldering processes.
  • You will also be knowledgeable about coatings, underfill, and manufacturing test.
  • Additionally, you will be experienced in high density designs, through hole and surface mount technologies, board stackup and pad designs, and design rules.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Desired Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent degree or education (minimum Technical High School degree).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Professional work background in electronics or related field.
  • Demonstrated understanding of New Product Introduction process.
  • Knowledge of Project Management, Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA), and Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
  • Transactions in an Enterprise Resource Planning system SAP.
  • Good written and verbal communications in English.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office programs.

The salary range for this position is between 33 520,00 - 50 280,00 EUR Annual this includes all bonsues.
