Commscope in Italy is seeking an Engineer I, Controls talla, to lead the controls scope for manufacturing equipment from concept through commissioning and validation, ensuring factory standards and maximum uptime. The role requires 5-7 years in maintenance/automation in manufacturing, with strong PLC/HMI/SCADA skills and experience coordinating with system integrators and vendors.

Will create electrical schematics, BOMs, and support SPC-driven improvements.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or diploma in electrical/electronic/controls instrumentation engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years in maintenance/automation in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Experience leading controls for capex projects and coordinating with vendors.

Mansioni

• Lead the controls scope for Capex projects, managing automation installations from concept to commissioning and validation.
• Direct external system integrators and equipment vendors to ensure lines align with factory IT/OT architecture.
• Create, update and maintain electrical schematics, panel layouts, system architectures, and BOMs.
• Projects to be executed based on SPC data and support development of SPMs to improve efficiency.
• Follow safety norms and ensure no norms are violated; provide engineering support to close breakdowns and maximize machine uptime.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment efficiency and maintain 5S standards at the workplace.
