A global automaker in Italy is seeking an experienced Engine BTE (Brake Thermal Efficiency) - Friction-Thermal Virtual Analysis Engineer. In this role, you'll work within a virtual engineering team to support product development, conduct optimization analyses, and develop innovative solutions for fuel economy improvements. The ideal candidate holds a Master of Science in Engineering and has experience in powertrain virtual analysis using commercial software. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships are essential for success in this position.

Competenze

  • Thorough knowledge of the English language including both written and oral communication.
  • Experience in CFD-1D and multibody analysis for conventional and hybrid ICE.
  • Excellent work ethic, organization and communication skills.

Mansioni

  • Work within the Propulsion Systems Virtual Engineering team.
  • Support product development through CAE in Engine Brake Thermal Efficiency.
  • Perform optimization analysis to ensure best trade-off over performances.
  • Coordinate execution of CAE activities for propulsion systems program(s).

Conoscenze

Experience in powertrain virtual analysis using commercial codes
Effective communications skills
Analytical thinking
Ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships
