Job summary

Esseco Industrial seeks a Chemical Engineering graduate to join the Production team in Italy. The role supports the Energy Manager, monitoring energy usage, balancing energy and mass, and driving efficiency projects to improve plant performance.

You will help develop careers within Production, assisting managers to optimize processes and sustain continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering.
5-7 years' experience in Production within the chemical industry.
Strong interest in energy efficiency and continuous improvement.
Strong analytical skills and aptitude for data analysis.
Problem-solving mindset and proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

Monitor and analyse plant energy consumption (electricity, gas, steam and utilities).
Support the preparation and updating of plant energy balances.
Analyse process data to identify opportunities for improving energy efficiency.
Contribute to the optimisation of plant operating conditions.
Participate in energy recovery, cogeneration and decarbonisation projects.
Develop energy-related KPIs and technical/management reports.
Support energy audits, ISO 50001 compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Contribute to management and optimisation of utilities and associated systems (steam and water).
Prepare energy-related regulatory documentation and licences.
