MITO Srl in Italy is seeking an Embedded Linux DevOps Engineer to optimize build systems, toolchains, and automated workflows. You will support developers with integration, troubleshooting, and releases while enhancing CI/CD pipelines.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with Python, Bash, CMake, Conan 2, Git, Yocto, cross-compilation, and Linux customization. You will collaborate across teams to improve software quality and deployment practices.

• Experience in Embedded Linux environments.
• Proficient in Python and Bash/Shell scripting.
• Experience with CMake and Conan 2.
• Knowledge of C++ (C++11 or newer) and object-oriented software development.
• Knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Familiarity with cross-compilation environments and embedded toolchains.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and DevOps practices.
• Experience with issue tracking and source code management tools (Jira, Bitbucket, GitHub, or similar).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Shell scripting.


• Manage software packaging, release processes, and release notes.


• Experience in creating and maintaining custom Yocto layers, recipes, and BSP integrations.


• Familiarity with Linux distribution customization, package management, and root filesystem generation.


• Collaborate with development teams to improve software quality, testing, and deployment practices.


• Contribute to software configuration management and version control strategies.

Mandatory Requirements

• Experience in Embedded Linux environments.
