Elsys Design in Napoli is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to participate in firmware development for ARM Cortex microcontrollers and embedded applications. You will join our team specializing in wireless/communication features (Bluetooth, Zigbee, OpenThread, Wi‑Fi, NFC, UWB, etc.) and be involved across the full software lifecycle from feasibility studies to integration, debugging and validation.

Candidates should have experience in C/C++, unit and system testing, and on-target testing

Competenze

• Embedded firmware/software development for ARM Cortex targets in C/C++.
• Experience with wireless/radio stacks.
• Development of unit and system tests.
• On-target testing using debuggers and instruments.

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to participate in the firmware development of new microcontrollers and/or embedded applications using these microcontrollers.

You will join our Elsys Design team, specialized in the implementation of wireless/communication features (Bluetooth, Zigbee, OpenThread, Wi-Fi, NFC, UWB, etc.). You will be involved across the entire software development lifecycle to bring products to production:

• Feasibility studies in collaboration with the Project Manager
• Software integration on target platforms
• Code review and verification
• Debugging and validation support

Your main development targets will be microcontrollers based on ARM cores.

Candidate Profile

• Embedded software/firmware development for ARM Cortex targets in C and/or C++
• Embedded software development for wireless/radio stacks
• Development of unit and system tests
• On-target testing using debuggers (e.g., Lauterbach, Keil), oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers
• Experience working in an international environment
