Embodied AI in Rome is seeking an Embedded Robotics Engineer to drive the development of next-generation soft continuum robots. You will bridge robotics, electronics, embedded systems, and software to transform research into reliable products.

You will join a growing engineering team across Italian and Swiss offices, working in a fast-paced startup environment at the forefront of embodied intelligence and soft robotics. Fluency in English is required.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong experience in embedded software development using C/C++.
• Experience with microcontrollers and embedded systems.
• Experience interfacing with sensors, actuators, motors, and communication protocols such as CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, or Ethernet.
• Understanding of real-time systems and embedded software architectures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex hardware and software systems.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Fluency in English.

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for our robotic systems.
• Develop firmware for microcontrollers and embedded platforms used in robotic devices.
