Job summary

Bonfiglioli Riduttori, Castel Maggiore (BO), is seeking a Firmware Engineer to join the Electronics Business Unit. You will develop embedded software for microprocessors and microcontrollers, shaping solutions that meet customer requirements and integrating across hardware and software teams.

Responsibilities include defining specifications, coding in C/C++, testing, release, documentation and training, plus maintaining software updates and coordinating with product development.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in firmware development.
• Good knowledge of C and C++ programming languages.
• English proficiency at least at B1 level.

Responsibilities

• Understand business needs and validate software/firmware specifications.
• Define the technologies and resources for software/firmware development and project timelines.
• Develop, validate and certify firmware in compliance with standards.
• Lead software/firmware testing and participate in customer iterations.
• Coordinate documentation, training and maintenance of firmware.
