SECO S.p.A. is seeking a candidate to join the R&D team responsible for automated testing infrastructure and CI, with growth opportunities and collaboration with Italian and foreign companies.

You will work on test script development, troubleshooting with HW/SW teams, BIOS configuration for embedded boards, OS installation, maintenance of the test suite, and serve as first point of contact for customer requests.

Competenze

• Experience with Linux systems administration and troubleshooting.
• Scripting in Bash.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
• Knowledge of at least one programming language, preferably C.
• Basic electronics knowledge and ability to read schematics.
• Experience with embedded systems or maker platforms (Arduino, Raspberry Pi).

We are looking for a candidate to join the R&D area in the team responsible for automated testing infrastructure and continuous integration.

The role will be part of the team responsible for the following activities:

• Management of the automated testing infrastructure and continuous integration


• Development of test scripts and methodologies


• Support for troubleshooting activities in collaboration with HW and SW development teams


• BIOS configuration for embedded boards


• Installation and configuration of Linux/Windows/Android operating systems


• Maintenance and updating of the test suite


• First point of contact for customers' technical requests

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of Linux: installation, configuration, troubleshooting, module management


• Bash scripting


• Good knowledge of network infrastructure and protocols


• Knowledge of at least one programming language, preferably C


• Basic knowledge of electronics and ability to interpret electrical schematics


• Experience, even amateur, with embedded systems or maker platforms (e.g., Arduino and Raspberry Pi)
