Summary of Position
This will require in depth diagnostic and oversight of complex supplier performance issues as it relates to delivery, quality, and global program criticalities for LHD Supply Base in support of Production and CS&S. Responsible for Supplier development, continuous Improvement, capability and capacity assessments. Collaborate with Internal and external stakeholders (category management, quality, engineering, program management, operations …) to manage the supplier relationship/partnership to ensure LH contractual, regulatory, and business needs are fulfilled.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform rate readiness assessment related to Supplier's manufacturing, repair & overhaul, business systems, for new and existing suppliers to meet global company needs (Production and CS&S).
- Conduct in-depth quality investigation to establish root cause, corrective and preventative actions to eliminate repetitive reoccurrence to improve supplier quality performance rating.
- Collaborate with all stakeholders (internal & external) for sustained annual performance targets across Quality, Delivery, and TAT with nominated critical poor performing Suppliers.
- Identify competency gaps within the supply chain process by analysis of Key Performance Indicators and intelligence gathering to develop, introduce, and lead Supplier Improvement Plans.
- Collect and evaluate risks emerging from supply chain and propose mitigation strategies to ensure satisfactory performance and business continuity
- Define Risk Management actions in the case of unsatisfactory mitigation/ business continuity plans of the supplier
- Ability to prepare a business case, make presentations to management, and conduct Supplier Performance Business Review.
- Actively participate in initiatives to ensure timely and effective supplier improvements and Corrective Actions are timely and effective.
- Ability to think creatively, identify changes to current processes, and apply analytical skills and problem solving techniques.

Experience
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in Supply Chain management within complex environments, with strong knowledge of material procurement or production processes in avionics, electrical, structural, or mechanical disciplines.
Education
Degree in an engineering or economic subject.
