Safran Group cerca un Ingegnere Elettronico per la progettazione e l'integrazione di test rig aeronautici. Il candidato lavorerà su conversione di potenza, elettronica di potenza e controllo, con competenze in analisi e modellazione digitale.

Si richiede laurea magistrale in elettronica e padronanza di LabVIEW, MATLAB/Simulink e CAD elettrico. Offriamo una posizione a tempo pieno in assetto ibrido in Italia, possibilità di viaggi per installazione e assistenza ai clienti, sviluppo professionale

Competenze

• Titolo richiesto: laurea magistrale in elettronica o equivalente.
• Competenze avanzate in meccatronica, controllo e power electronics.
• Esperienza con LabVIEW, MATLAB/Simulink e strumenti di progettazione CAD.

Descrizione della mission

You will join the engineering team as a Test Rigs Design & Manufacturing control and System Integration area of competence. The role will encompass the design, construction and validation of aeronautical actuation and environmental conditioning test rig systems. The required specialization is in the electronic & SW field with specific skills in analogic signal conditioning and power circuitry design and packaging skills using mathematical models and specific SW tools. Project management skills will also be appreciated.

Your contribution is expected to provide valuable expertise through a rigorous analytical approach and strong engineering practices. As part of the Test Rig Engineering and System Integration group, you will make a key contribution to the design evolution and improvement of our products, enabling the renewal of existing technologies. Testing and System integration activities are a fundamental asset in aeronautics and our department wants to be the excellence.

You will operate in an inclusive and dynamic working environment, in collaboration with the other engineering functions as required by the phase of the program. Within this role you will have the opportunity to interact with an international and multicultural engineering community. Availability to travel for installation, commissioning and assistance activities is often required at end customer.

It is required consolidated competence in the related engineering disciplines, including but not limited to the Industrial automation, sensor and transducers expertizing, Power inverter design capability, HW/SW integration skills, systems architecture and mechatronic knowledge. High quality of the technical content and timely delivery of required outputs are key aspects of the role, as well as a thorough approach and an open mindset attitude.

What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?

Your role is a key contributor to the advancement of the state of the art of our testing and system integration knowledge and to the renewing of the systems in service and assistance. Part of the role will be a thorough and targeted reporting of results and analysis.

• Validate and decompose requirements of applicable technical specifications.
• Build or adapt available digital simulation models of components and systems. Conduct performance analysis and trade-off analysis.
• Analyse simulation results to verify compliance to the applicable requirements or identify areas of improvement.
• Design reliable and repeatable test architectures and analysis environments that enable fast and accurate results.
• Participate to design reviews and technical meetings. Deliver high technical contents and participate to key project decisions based on substantiated analyses

Profilo

This is an exciting role within the engineering team, critical to supporting design evolutions and problem solving. It will bring with it the opportunity to be involved in almost all aspects of the design and development processes of flight equipment, their qualification and final integration on the aircraft through the study of their installation and testing of their performances. Solid engineering expertise is the fundamental pillar to support the multidisciplinary aspects of the role.

Required skills:

• master degree in electronic with solid competence in mechatronics and control systems disciplines.
• Expert level knowledge of electrical CAD for schematic design and circuitry simulation
• Minimum of 3 year of background experience in related fields of the industry
• Knowledge of EMI shielding techniques for electrical disturbances minimization
• Experiences in signal conditioning design (LVDT, encoder, galvanic insulation and signal buffering) and H bridge driver design.
• Skilled in the use of NI Labview suite for design and implementation of automated test procedures (PXI real-time controller and FPGA application)
• Knowledge of the fundamentals of design, development, validation and verification processes of automation components and systems, particularly in relation to recognized industry and aerospace standards.
• Team player, proactive, eager to learn and increase technical competence. Always seeking continuous improvement
• Rigorous approach to engineering tasks and problem solving.
• Fluent Italian and good English written and oral (e.g. B2/C1)
• Availability for travels between the company's Italian and foreign offices and end customers

Desirable skills:

• Good knowledge and use of MATLAB® and Simulink® software suites.
• Agile approach to technical challenges. At ease in a fast-evolving working environment and adaptable to contribute to different tasks as needed
• Clear and targeted preparation of documents, presentations and other material supporting design reports
