Main activity and responsibility

  • Identify and resolve anomalies and faults in electronic products installed in the field, interfacing with customer support teams.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and propose technical solutions.
  • Plan, coordinate and monitor releases of electronic product updates and changes in the field.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to analyze, plan and implement design changes and improvements in existing products.
  • Collaborate with the System Test team to verify the correct coverage in terms of testing and analyze (and solve) any eventual issue found.
  • Ensure each release is adequately tested, documented and communicated to affected teams and customers.
  • Support the Customer Support team by providing training and technical documentation to resolve recurring issues.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Customer Support to ensure new releases are implemented without negative impacts on existing systems.
  • Monitor product feedback from customers and the market to identify potential vulnerabilities and improvements.
  • Collaborate with the Manufacturing department to resolve assembly or testing issues and optimize existing manufacturing processes.

Required Skills

  • Degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or similar disciplines.
  • Skills in diagnosing and resolving product problems, hardware, software and firmware.
  • Good problem solving and communication skills.
  • Experience with planning and coordinating releases of software/hardware updates in the field.
  • Ability to work with interdisciplinary teams (Engineering, Production, Customer Service, Marketing).
  • Availability for short trips to production sites or customers.

Additional Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience in using DevOps to track issues and to plan releases.
  • Experience managing DevOps pipelines and CI/CD automation tools.
  • Basic programming knowledge for debugging.
