Job summary

Luxoft Germany seeks an automotive Wiring Systems Engineer to design wiring harnesses and 2D/3D layouts, ensuring proper signal routing between ECUs, sensors, and actuators. The role focuses on electrical fundamentals, wiring integrity, and protection concepts in a German OEM context.

The candidate will work on vehicle electronics platforms, with an emphasis on scalable modular solutions and quality compliance across brands.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of electrical fundamentals (voltage, current, power) and wiring systems.
• Knowledge of vehicle networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and data communication signals.
• Ability to size wires, calculate voltage drop, and ensure proper fusing and protection concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design wiring systems and harness layouts (2D/3D).
• Define routing of electrical signals and power between ECUs, sensors, actuators, and HMIs.
• Ensure correct wire types, sizes, shielding, and insulation.

Ensure the development of electric and electronic hardware solutions with wellbalanced performance steps, delivering with quality and with modular scalability to support the transition to platform all company brands,

Responsibilities

• Design of Wiring Systems
• Creates schematics and 2D/3D layouts of wiring harnesses.
• Defines how electrical signals and power are routed between components (ECUs, sensors, actuators, HMIs, etc.).
• Ensures correct wire types, sizes, shielding, and insulation.

SKILLS

Must have
