Job summary

Stilmas S.p.A. is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering Team. You will design and develop electrical systems supporting water purification, storage, and distribution solutions for the global biopharmaceutical market.

You will collaborate with customers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure robust, compliant, and standardized designs, driving continuous improvement and product standardization. Excellent communication and English skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience, including 5 years in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Experience with packaged systems, skids, or process equipment is a strong advantage.
• Experience in regulated sectors such as Biopharma, Life Sciences, Water Treatment, Food & Beverage is valued.

Responsibilities

• Review customer specifications and translate requirements into compliant electrical designs.
• Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMs.
• Collaborate with customers through design reviews, feasibility assessments, and HAZOP.
• Partner with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Drive standardization and support continuous improvement of engineering processes.
• Contribute to product simplification and complexity reduction strategies.
• Maintain and improve engineering standards, specifications, procedures and design documentation.
• Support organizational growth by developing scalable electrical solutions.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will:

• Review customer specifications and translate requirements into compliant electrical designs.
• Select and specify electrical components, including instrumentation, motors, drives, and associated equipment.
• Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Collaborate directly with customers through design reviews, feasibility assessments, and HAZOP activities.
• Partner with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Drive standardization initiatives and support continuous improvement of engineering processes.
• Contribute to product simplification and complexity reduction strategies.
• Maintain and improve engineering standards, specifications, procedures, and design documentation.
• Support the organization's growth by developing scalable and efficient engineering solutions.

What We're Looking For

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of international electrical standards and regulations (IEC, UL, and related standards).
• Expertise in electrical design for industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience specifying instrumentation, motors, variable frequency drives, and electrical control systems.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs and translate process requirements into electrical solutions.
• Experience with electrical design software; SPAC knowledge is highly appreciated.
