Greenvolt Power Italy i is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to contribute directly to the design and execution of our renewable energy projects. This role involves actively participating in the design, supervision, and construction of large‑scale renewable energy initiatives, with a primary focus on solar PV, onshore wind, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

Key Accountabilities
  • Provide professional engineering advice and technical support for the design and construction of the large‑scale renewable energy projects, primarily focusing on solar PV, onshore wind, and BESS.
  • Good understanding of project design drawings and able to participate in discussions with designers and BOP contractors.
  • Collaborate in the tendering processes (RFQ/RFP) in technical requirements and design.
  • Support the definition, preparation, and control of the documentation to enable the timely start of construction of the renewable energy projects.
  • Under coordination with the procurement department, prepare technical documentation and scope for bidding procedures for external suppliers.
  • Schedule project steps and works to achieve the most efficient, timely, and cost‑effective construction of solar PV, onshore wind, and BESS projects.
  • Supervise and control that during the construction phase the building permit and rest of permit requirements are respected.
  • Report project status, recommend solutions, and inform about potential risks to the board.
  • Manage and supervise payment approval and document preparation processes in accordance with the requirements of the project schedule.
  • Coordinate internal information flow within Development Team, Accounting, Legal, Procurement, Tax, HSE & Quality.
  • Manage and control technical, time, safety, and quality issues during the construction process.
  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders during the connection to the grid process.
  • Collaborate during construction and provide solutions to construction design problems in coordination with the EPC company.
Qualifications
  • Engineering background (preferably Electrical Engineer).
  • 5‑6 years of experience in renewable energy projects, mainly PV and wind farm (utility‑scale) construction.
  • Experienced with components and technical equipment typically installed in large‑scale onshore wind, solar PV plants, and high‑voltage lines and substations.
  • Experience working with AutoCAD, MS Project, MS Office, WindPRO, Wasp, PVsyst.
  • Availability to travel around Italy in all project areas.
  • Knowledge of local regulations for connecting projects to the grid.
  • Negotiation skills and problem‑solving ability.
  • Strong interpersonal and communicative abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Good understanding of project design drawings and ability to participate in discussions with designers and BOP/EPC contractors.
  • Good English language skills (written and spoken).
  • Good reporting and teamwork skills.
