About the job

Based in Monza Italy you will join our Automation Development team responsible for designing advanced control systems and IoT solutions for Alfa Lavals core products and customized this role you will be involved in the electrical design and maintenance of automation systems contributing to high-quality safe and efficient solutions.

Your main tasks

• Reviewing customer automation inputs and project specifications
• Estimating budget hours based on scope
• Performing LV electrical design calculations
• Participating in peer reviews and quality processes
• Coordinating design activity planning
• Collaborating across sites within our Device Competence Space

What you know

• Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
• Proficiency in electrical design tools such as ePlan P8 or similar
• Knowledge of standards: EN60204-1 UL508a EN 60079-1
• Experience with marine approvals verification and documentation
• Familiarity with prototype / MVP design approaches
• Expertise in safety calculations and LV design
• Experience with ATEX and hazardous area electrical design (Zone 1 & 2)
• Strong skills in electrical engineering drawings
• Background in project work and product development
• Project management experience is a plus
• Fluent in written and spoken English
