A multinational financial institution is seeking a trainee for its Projects Directorate. This role focuses on analyzing EU legislative developments and supporting digital infrastructure initiatives. Candidates should have a background in engineering or business, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in English. The traineeship offers a duration of 5 months with potential for extension.
Join the European Investment Bank (EIB) as a trainee in the Projects Directorate – Innovation & Competitiveness Department (INCO) – Digital Infrastructure Division (DIGIINFRA), based at our Luxembourg headquarters. The role offers a 5‑month fixed‑term traineeship starting 1 March/April 2026, with a possible extension of up to 6 months if required by university.
Duration: 5 months (fixed start date: 1 March/April 2026) – possible extension up to 6 months if required by university.
Eligibility: Applicants must be nationals of Member States of the European Union or citizens from countries with official candidate status (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine). Erasmus+ programme overlap will not be considered. Only the first three applications will be considered.
Contribute to shaping Europe’s digital future by analysing EU legislative developments, assessing digital infrastructure, and estimating investment needs to meet emerging regulatory requirements in digital networks, cybersecurity, cloud and AI.
