Position - HSE Specialist

We are seeking a passionate and driven person who, reporting to the Group HSE Manager and working in the operational sites in full cooperation with the Plant Manager, will manage all aspects and activities related to HSE Health Safety Environment.

What You Will Do

• Act as RSPP (Head of the Prevention and Protection Service) at the operational sites in compliance with Italian law, after an adequate induction period.
• Identify, manage and control all legal and regulatory requirements and Group corporate directives related to health, safety and environment.
• Manage risk analysis and assessments on HSE matters, considering the specific business activities and organization.
• Draft, define, propose, update and monitor prevention, protection and improvement plans based on HSE risk assessments and sustainability projects.
• Conduct internal inspections and audits in operational areas to ensure HSE aspects are managed, monitored and controlled, collaborating with colleagues.
• Report to the Group HSE Manager and work with site management to propose, define and implement suitable prevention and protection measures, improvement initiatives and action plans to eliminate or reduce HSE risks and promote sustainable development.
• Support the Group HSE Manager, plant management teams and company management in relations with authorities and regulatory third parties, managing authorization processes and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with requirements for permits, authorizations and HSE management systems (ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
• Verify regularly that employees understand their HSE responsibilities and comply with established measures.
• Prepare, plan and manage training programs and awareness initiatives on HSE and sustainability topics, ensuring all employees receive appropriate training and instruction according to their roles.
• Contribute to implementation of Group standards, management systems and best practices, proposing new procedures and guidelines.
• Participate as a supporting member of specific committees and meetings, promoting initiatives related to HSE, sustainability and ESG topics.
• Report on HSE and sustainability performance data for the sites and the Group, also for ESG purposes.

Who You Are

• Degree in Engineering, preferably Environmental or Safety Engineering, or an equivalent technical degree.
• Qualified to assume the role of RSPP according to Italian law.
• Specialized training certificates in occupational health and safety, environment and sustainability, particularly for RSPP roles and certified trainer status as required by Italian law.
• Experience in industrial operations, preferably in the mechanical business sector.
• Experience implementing HSE management systems ISO 45001, ISO 14001 (ISO 50001 considered an advantage).
• Fluent in English.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong cooperative attitude and teamwork orientation.
• Ability to manage tasks autonomously after initial support.
• Goal‑oriented mindset aligned with company objectives.
• Ability to analyze and summarize with a strategic and systemic vision.
