As EHS Leader you will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Your responsibilities will involve conducting risk assessments, training employees and promoting a safe and healthy work environment.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs and policies in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Perform regular EHS inspections/genba and audit to evaluate and identify hazards to ensure EHS compliance
  • Provide EHS training and education to employees, ensuring they understand and comply with safety standards and procedures
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, events and near‑misses and develop strategies to prevent recurrence
  • Collaborate with management and employees to promote a proactive EHS culture and continuous improvement
  • Maintain accurate records of EHS activities, incidents and compliance efforts
  • Monitor and analyze EHS performance metrics and report findings to management
  • Stay current with industry best practices and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance and improvement
  • Participate in emergency response planning and drills
  • Support sustainability initiatives and environmental stewardship efforts

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master's Degree in Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience in an EHS role
  • Knowledge of Italian EHS regulation (D.Lgs. 81/2008 and D.Lgs. 152/2006) and of EHS international standards (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001)
  • RSPP/ASPP training and certification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple ongoing tasks
  • Fluent Italian and good English knowledge
  • Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
