Job summary

Greatspir in Milan or remote is seeking an Editor to cut real work and help shape how it lands in the product. You are the first user and the loudest advocate for clear, honest feedback on cuts.

You will edit teasers, showcase films, and client work using the platform, while onboarding studios and documenting what you learn to drive improvements. Proficiency with Resolve or Premiere is required, with openness to new tools and opinions on AI-generated footage.

• Edit the pieces we produce — teasers, showcase films, client work — using the platform.
• Push the generation tools to the edges: identify what holds, what drifts, what is not worth the credits.
• Write down findings clearly and help translate them into product changes.
• Onboard studios during onboarding and show how a craft-oriented editor works in practice.

What you'd do

• Edit the pieces we produce - teasers, showcase films, client work - using the platform for all of it.
• Push the generation tools into the corners: what holds, what drifts, what is not worth the credits.
• Write down what you find, plainly, and see it change the product.
• Sit with studios during onboarding and show them how someone who knows the craft actually works in it.

Why it's hard

You will be editing on a tool that is still being built, which means part of the week is friction you have to describe precisely instead of just working around. Precision about your own annoyance is a skill, and it is the one we need most.

What it isn't

Not a QA seat with a checklist. Not a role where you only test - you deliver real cuts on real deadlines.

Who tends to fit

• You have cut work that shipped, and you can talk about why a cut works.
• You are at home in Resolve or Premiere and unbothered by learning something new.
• You have opinions about AI-generated footage - for or against, as long as they come from having used it.
