We’re hiring a E2E System Engineer, within the Observation system department/E2E System Design and Verification unit, he/she has to support the E2E System Engineering activities.

Responsibilities
  • Develop scientific algorithms in the fields of SAR remote sensing, image processing and mission analysis.
  • Perform engineering requirements analysis and flow‑down activity.
  • Develop mathematical models and budgets for optical payload performance.
  • Conduct mission analysis for satellites optical systems.
  • Carry out calibration activities for already operative SAR systems.
  • Understand system physical and functional architecture of satellite systems.
  • Define and execute end‑to‑end verification approach.
  • Write technical documents and project reports.
Requirements
  • Engineering master's degree, preferably Ph.D., in relevant field.
  • Strong analytical, technical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of statistical methods for temporal and spatial analysis of scientific data.
  • Team‑working attitude and ability to collaborate across cultures.

Language: fluent English, spoken and written.

Location: Rome.
