Liberty Mutual Surety™ in Milan seeks a Surety Field Underwriter responsible for underwriting moderately complex risks and servicing a local broker network. You will analyze financials, manage client relationships, and contribute to marketing plans to grow the book of business within Italy.

The role requires a degree in Business or equivalent, strong communication skills, and fluency in English and the local language. Experience in underwriting and knowledge of regulatory requirements are a plus.

Competenze

• Degree in Business or equivalent typically required.
• Surety underwriting experience or related experience.
• Ability to analyze complex underwriting issues and document workflows.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with stakeholders.
• Fluency in local language and English; additional languages a plus.

Mansioni

• Markets, underwrites & services moderately complex risks for a book of business with supervision for higher risk accounts.
• Develops and executes field marketing plans and supports producer/customer engagement.
• Performs financial and credit analyses of bond submissions and monitors risk position.
• Ensures adherence to underwriting standards and internal guidelines.
• Supports in business development and cross-selling opportunities when appropriate.
• Represent Liberty Mutual Surety at industry events and engage with brokers and clients.
