Askgroup seeks a DSP Software Engineer to design and develop embedded software modules for audio systems, adhering to ASK coding styles and the project release plan.

The role emphasizes DSP algorithms, MATLAB/Simulink, Python, and cross-functional teamwork. A Master’s degree in Computer/Telecommunication/Sound Engineering is required, with willingness to travel to foreign branches.

Competenze

• Master's degree in Computer/Telecommunication/Sound Engineering required.
• Strong knowledge of embedded programming languages (C, C++).
• Experience with audio formats, music/sound tech, and DSP algorithms.
• Familiarity with DSP evalboards and MATLAB/Simulink tooling.
• Proficiency in English; able to work in a team and present results.

In our team Audio Features in Product Development Audio Systems , DSP tasks are:

Design and development of SW modules in accordance with SW architecture and requirements Development of DSP SW for audio signal processing

Research, development, and implementation of algorithms according to customer requirements or market/company vision needs

Create documentation of developed SW according to company standards

Perform reviews and test of developed modules

Give technical support to customer

Give support to setting up demo cars

_Constraints_

Implementation has to follow ASK coding styles

Usage of defined SW development tools

Implementation sequence has to follow the SW release plan set up by project PL

Required a Master degree in Computer/Telecommunication/Sound Engineering

Knowledge about embedded programming languages (C, C++)

Knowledge about audio and media formats, music/sound technology and audio algorithms (filters, surround sound, etc)

Knowledge about DSP evalboard systems (e.g., demo setup by evalboard)

Knowledge about Mathworks SW (Matlab & Simulink)

Knowledge about scripting programming language (Python)

Knowledge in acoustical and electrical audio measurement

Knowledge about high-level programming languages (C#)

Ability to effectively perform brainstorming and problem solving

Ability to work in a team and to give presentations
