A luxury hotel chain in Rome seeks a Director of Rooms to manage Front Office, Housekeeping, and Reservations teams. Candidates should have 3-5 years of management experience in hotel operations and be fluent in English and Italian. A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or equivalent is required, along with an EU work permit. This position reports to the General Manager and the Director of Operations.

Overview

A great opportunity to join as Director of Rooms at a luxury 5-star hotel in Rome. Experience required: 3-5 years in a similar management role in a well-structured hotel chain, preferably in Italy. Fluent in Italian and English; knowledge of additional languages preferred. The role is intended for ExCom. The Director of Rooms will report to the General Manager and the Director of Operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage Front Office (approximately 30 staff), Housekeeping (approximately 20 staff), and Reservations (approximately 4 staff).

Qualifications

• Minimum a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or equivalent, plus four years of guest service/hotel experience with at least two years in a management capacity, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• More than five yearsexperience in a similar hotel operations role is preferred.
• Fluent in English and Italian; additional languages are preferred.
• Strict adherence to LQA standards.
• EU work permit.
