About the role

As a Digital Workplace Leader, you will develop and implement strategies to enhance and optimize the digital workplace experience for employees within an organization. You will play a crucial role in driving digital transformation initiatives, fostering collaboration, and ensuring the efficient and effective use of digital tools and technologies.

Meanwhile, as a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Microsoft-based solutions to meet the technological and business needs of an organization. You will leverage your expertise dealing with different technologies, preferably in Microsoft space, to architect scalable, secure, and efficient systems that align with the organization's goals and strategies.

Responsibilities may include :
  • Architecture design, development and updates : Develop architectures and keep up to date with Microsoft news and suggest new features;
  • Technical leadership and user support : Mentor development teams, ensure adherence to standards and best practices, support end users, resolve issues and organize training programmes;
  • Digital Strategy and Technology Innovation : Develop and implement a digital strategy that supports business objectives, identifying and evaluating new technologies to improve employee productivity, engagement, and satisfaction. You will also produce technical documentation to communicate decisions and integrations;
  • Cross-functional and technical collaboration : Work with IT, HR, and business teams to design digital solutions drive adoption, and translate business requirements into technical solutions;
  • Governance, compliance, and change management : Define governance models, policies, and standards for the digital workplace, ensuring data security and privacy while driving adoption and effectiveness of digital solutions among employees;
  • Digital tools management : Oversee the selection and integration of tools such as collaboration software, intranets and self-service portals;
  • Monitoring and performance optimization : Analysing KPIs and improving user experience and operational efficiency;
  • External supplier management : Liaise with suppliers to ensure quality of service and negotiate contracts;
  • Technology Assessment : Recommend platforms and tools to optimize efficiency.
What you need to be successful
  • Digital workplace experience : Proven experience managing digital initiatives, including collaboration tools, intranets, document management, and employee engagement platforms, preferably in large enterprise environments.
  • Solution architect experience : Strong experience with Microsoft technologies and platforms.
  • Microsoft Azure expertise : Advanced knowledge of Azure cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
  • Security and Privacy Expertise : Familiarity with regulations and best practices related to data security and privacy in digital technologies.
  • Change Management : Knowledge of change management methodologies and experience in user adoption of digital solutions.
  • Analytical and project management skills : Ability to analyze, problem solve, and manage digital projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Leadership and excellent communication skills : Ability to motivate and lead teams, influence decisions, and align the organization around digital objectives.
Additional Skills Desired
  • Experience in building scalable distributed systems using Microsoft Azure (Service Fabric, AKS, Azure Functions).
  • Experience with Microsoft data solutions (SQL Server, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Azure Data Lake).
  • Security in Microsoft systems : Knowledge of security principles such as identity management, encryption, and threat detection.
