Drive Your Future

The candidate will work within the Manufacturing Intelligence department at Pirelli headquarter. The resource will be responsible for developing and refining Digital Twin models, mainly related to factory flow simulation, with a view to optimizing and planning various industrial situations through the management of available data.

Your Core Activities
  • Select and examine data that can be used to feed the digital model.
  • Carry out feasibility studies related to factory flows with a view to innovating/streamlining tire manufacturing processes.
  • Coordinate activities to create a “proof of concept” or mock-up to validate the proposed solutions.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, scientific and university institutions, and company departments (such as Industrial Engineering, Digital, Engineering) to correctly select Digital twin models, define the best scenario modeling, and gather the requirements to be simulated with the tools adopted.
  • Collaborate with 3D design offices to create virtual simulation models.
What We Are Looking For
  • Master's degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent qualifications, with proficiency in English and favorable consideration for any experience gained abroad.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team, and effective communication and synthesis abilities.
  • Ability to focus on defined priorities, adapt to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work flexibly in complex organizational environments.
  • Willingness to travel or relocate, including abroad, for short periods, with readiness for short trips to Italian and foreign operating units for training and know-how transfer activities.
  • Flexibility and ability to work in complex organizational environments.
What Puts You In Pole Position
  • Knowledge of machine design with at least 5-7 years of experience, including the installation of machinery in industrial environments and familiarity with the Machinery Directive.
  • Knowledge of mechanics, electronics, and basic pneumatics/hydraulics used in industrial plants.
  • Proficiency in FEM simulation tools and additive manufacturing technologies (mainly FDM-SLS-SLA-MJP) and related processable materials.
  • Knowledge of robotics, related simulations, and 3D modeling tools for additive technologies and the creation of mathematics for simulation environments.
  • Basic knowledge of tools used in digital twin simulation (Plant Simulation, Factory flow simulation, Omniverse).
