Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a Technician in Milan, IL to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You’ll learn Penske’s maintenance processes, use advanced tools, and grow through industry-certified training.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1-2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and outdoors.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to follow DOT/OSHA policies.

Mansioni

• Maintain and inspect vehicles to ensure safety.
• Log, research and complete repairs using Penske’s tools and technologies, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance and component lubrication and replacements on gas and diesel engines.
• Collaborate with your manager for training and skill development.
• Contribute to other projects as assigned by supervisor.

Basic mechanical aptitude

Automotive/diesel repair experience
