Job summary

MDOTM is seeking an Intermediate DevOps Engineer to join the Platform Team. You will support, enhance, and maintain the underlying infrastructure and tools enabling fast, secure software delivery for Sphere, MDOTM’s AI-driven investment platform.

You will design and automate CI/CD pipelines, manage IaC with Terraform/Ansible, and work with Docker/Kubernetes to ensure scalable services. Strong automation and security focus required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a DevOps or SRE role with automation, infra, and CI/CD.
• Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines.
• Docker experience and writing Dockerfiles; debugging containers.
• IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience with monitoring/logging/alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Zabbix).
• Scripting in Python or Bash for automation.
• Security in the SDLC and basic best practices.
• Clear English communication and collaborative mindset.
• Experience with event-driven systems (ActiveMQ).
• Contributions to open-source projects.
• Familiarity with Java/Spring Boot concepts.
• AWS fundamentals (EC2, S3, IAM).
• Financial-services or high-throughput data background.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and automate CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD).
• Manage IaC via Terraform/Ansible for on-prem and AWS resources.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes to package and operate services.
• Help implement monitoring/logging/tracing (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Zabbix).
• Embed security into SDLC and automate controls within pipelines.
• Support database infrastructure (MySQL, MongoDB) provisioning and migrations.
• Automate deployment, scaling, and health of core platform services.
• Document runbooks and standards; contribute to architectural decisions.
• Promote DevOps culture and knowledge sharing across teams.
