Research activities in the field of electrical power systems, with a particular focus on the modeling and simulation of power grids operating within a market environment, for the purpose of conducting planning studies, operational analyses, and techno-economic assessments. The research will also address systems for integrating energy storage and flexible end-users—including through energy communities—into the grid, with the aim of enabling participation in ancillary service markets and ensuring the secure, real-time management of the electrical system.
