Senior Mechanical Designer

We are looking for a Senior -Level Mechanical Designer with at least 5 years of experience in the design and development of consumer electronic products to join our technical team. The candidate will be involved in the full product development cycle — from concept design to industrialization — and will collaborate closely with the electronics, industrial design, and manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• 3D design and modeling of mechanical components and assemblies for electronic products.
• Technical development of mechanical solutions integrated with PCBs, wiring, connectors, and both off-the-shelf and custom components.
• Material selection and validation based on functional, aesthetic, and manufacturing requirements.
• Collaboration with suppliers and partners for prototyping and production ramp‑up.
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation (2D drawings, BOMs, technical specifications).
• Daily interaction with industrial design, electronics, quality, and manufacturing teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design of electronic products (preferably in the consumer sector).
• Proficient in 3D CAD software SolidWorks.
• Hands‑on experience with a wide range of materials : plastics (injection molding), sheet metal, die‑cast or forged metals, wood, rubber, and their respective surface finishes.
• Familiarity with PCBs, wiring, cable assemblies, connectors, and mechanical integration of electronic components.
• Knowledge of prototyping techniques and production technologies.
• Team player with strong problem‑solving skills, organizational ability, and a goal‑oriented mindset.

Nice to Have

• Experience in design-driven and innovation-focused companies.
• Knowledge of design for manufacturing and assembly (DFM / DFA).
• Knowledge of computer aided engineering applications.
• Basic understanding of electronics and / or lab testing.
• Knowledge of devices for musical production and reproduction.
