Senior Mechanical Designer
We are looking for a Senior -Level Mechanical Designer with at least 5 years of experience in the design and development of consumer electronic products to join our technical team. The candidate will be involved in the full product development cycle — from concept design to industrialization — and will collaborate closely with the electronics, industrial design, and manufacturing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- 3D design and modeling of mechanical components and assemblies for electronic products.
- Technical development of mechanical solutions integrated with PCBs, wiring, connectors, and both off-the-shelf and custom components.
- Material selection and validation based on functional, aesthetic, and manufacturing requirements.
- Collaboration with suppliers and partners for prototyping and production ramp‑up.
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation (2D drawings, BOMs, technical specifications).
- Daily interaction with industrial design, electronics, quality, and manufacturing teams.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design of electronic products (preferably in the consumer sector).
- Proficient in 3D CAD software SolidWorks.
- Hands‑on experience with a wide range of materials : plastics (injection molding), sheet metal, die‑cast or forged metals, wood, rubber, and their respective surface finishes.
- Familiarity with PCBs, wiring, cable assemblies, connectors, and mechanical integration of electronic components.
- Knowledge of prototyping techniques and production technologies.
- Team player with strong problem‑solving skills, organizational ability, and a goal‑oriented mindset.
Nice to Have
- Experience in design-driven and innovation-focused companies.
- Knowledge of design for manufacturing and assembly (DFM / DFA).
- Knowledge of computer aided engineering applications.
- Basic understanding of electronics and / or lab testing.
- Knowledge of devices for musical production and reproduction.
