A leading engineering company in Italy is seeking a Thermo‑Structural Analysis Engineer to join their Engineering Design Team. This role involves conducting simulations for gas turbine components, supporting designs for product upgrades and life extensions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Candidates should have a relevant degree, proficiency in simulation tools, and strong analytical skills. This is a full-time entry-level position.

Competenze

  • Experience in thermo‑structural analysis (FEM, CFD).

Mansioni

  • Conduct thermo‑structural simulations and assessments for rotor and gas turbine components.
  • Support design activities for product upgrades, life extension, and new developments.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to evaluate and implement new production processes.
  • Assist in supplier qualification and process validation.
  • Provide technical support to customers by analyzing issues and proposing engineering solutions.

Conoscenze

We are looking for a talented Thermo‑Structural Analysis Engineer to join our Engineering Design Team. This role is fundamental to the development and optimization of heavy‑duty gas turbine components, including rotors and static and rotating components. The resource will contribute to life extension programs, performance upgrades, and the creation of new configurations, while supporting production and quality teams in process innovation and supplier qualification.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct thermo‑structural simulations and assessments for rotor and gas turbine components.
  • Support design activities for product upgrades, life extension, and new developments.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to evaluate and implement new production processes.
  • Assist in supplier qualification and process validation.
  • Provide technical support to customers by analyzing issues and proposing engineering solutions.
  • Work in a dynamic, international environment with cross‑functional collaboration.
Required Skills / Knowledge
  • Familiarity with hightemperature materials and thermal fatigue.
  • Proficiency in simulation tools (ANSYS).
