Design HSE Engineer
The Design HSE engineer participate in all activities of the Design HSE engineering discipline in the scope of work for offers / projects / studies under the supervision of Design HSE Manager or Leader.
He / She has the specific know-how for process safety design and risk analysis, with good and referenced knowledge of :
- Safety design (e.g. HSE legislation / standards / norms compliance, layout spacing, spill containment)
- Hazard analysis techniques (e.g. HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA)
- Consequence and risk analyses (QRA, FERA, BRA, ERA, ESSA) including the use of related software (TNO Effects, DNV Phast, etc.)
- Active and Passive Fire protection (e.g. F&G, fire fighting and fireproofing design, hazardous area classification)
- Hazardous Area Classification design
- Fire and Gas detection and alarming system
- Environmental protection (e.g. BAT compliance, emission limits specification, noise study)
As a Design HSE Engineer, under the guidance of Design HSE Manager or Leader, you will be responsible for :
- Ensuring that design HSE requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle;
- Participating in design HSE reviews, audits, risk assessments, and studies;
- Preparing and reviewing design HSE documentation, such as specifications, procedures, reports, manuals, etc.;
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, such as engineering disciplines, contractors, vendors, authorities, etc., on design HSE issues;
- Identifying and implementing design HSE best practices and lessons learned;
- Participate to surveys or assistance in field for HSE engineering subjects;
- To keep him / herself up-to-date about the technical specific improvement of the discipline.

KNOWLEDGE / certification required
- Engineering graduation with focus on risk analysis / loss prevention design in particular for Oil & Gas, Chemical and Petrochemical industry.
- Good experience in the most common risk analysis methodologies and use of relevant dedicated commercial software.
- Good English level (professional).
