Job Summary


We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to lead and support Sustaining Engineering and I2V (Idea to Value) projects, with a focus on screw compressor systems (both oil-free and oil-injected). This role involves coordinating projects across sites, including India and Lonate, managing product variants, and driving cost reduction initiatives.


Responsibilities


• Coordination and management of Sustaining Engineering
• Coordination and support of ETC Indian and Lonate projects
• Management of I2V projects
• Series support of screw compressor systems (oil-free and oil-injected)
• Technical support for sales, service, complaints management and QM
• Coordination of the implementation of cost reduction measures (strategic sourcing)
• Planning, implementation, evaluation and approval of tests within the scope of series support
• (I2V, product quality, troubleshooting, QM, component release, new suppliers)
• Detailed design of product variants and options
• Creation of parts lists, drawings and other specifications in SAP
• Creation of technical documentation (operating instructions, spare parts list)


Basic Qualifications


• Mechanical engineer degree
• Several years of experience in development and construction

• English language skills, both written and spoken


• Project management
• Value analysis
• Human resources management
• Knowledge and experience in methodical and assembly-related design
