Comer Industries, based in Reggiolo (RE), Italy, invites interns to join our Research & Product Development team. You will analyze system specifications, apply robust 3D modelling methods, and finalise project definitions while liaising with suppliers and internal departments.

The internship covers CAD modelling basics, cylindrical gear calculation, FEA, fatigue life calculation, and multi-body analysis, with a monthly allowance and meals provided.

Competenze

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Base knowledge of mechanical power transmissions.
• Technical and technological know-how.
• MS Office proficiency and IT skills.
• Fluent in English.

Mansioni

• Analyse system specifications and perform 3D modelling of the project.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to finalise project definition.
• Create 2D tables of components and manage product modifications.
• Assist in calculations and simulations across the project.

Posizione

We are looking for interns to join our Research & Product Development team. His/her task will be to analyse the system specifications, apply a robust methodology for 3D modelling of the project, in line with the team’s existing design practices, and then proceed to finalise the project in detail, liaising with suppliers and internal departments and drawing on previous experience to complete the project definition work. The intern may also be involved in other activities specific to the R&PD function, such as:

• 3D modelling of components and assemblies
• Creation of 2D tables of components
• Coding of parts
• Management of product modifications
• Calculations and simulations
• Feasibility assessment
• Support for other functions (testing, quality, sales, purchasing)

During the internship, the intern will have the opportunity to learn the following tools and methodologies:

• CAD modelling basics;
• Cylindrical gear calculation;
• FEA calculation;
• Fatigue life calculation using the strain-life method;
• Multi-body calculation.

Requisiti

• Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Base knowledge of mechanical power transmissions

• IT skills: MS Office
• Fluent in English
