An innovative agricultural machinery company in Breganze is looking for a Design Engineer. You will design and develop complex structures, ensuring adherence to performance and quality standards. Required qualifications include 3–5 years of mechanical engineering experience and proficiency in solid modeling. As a Design Engineer, you will focus on the development of combines in the chassis and grain handling area. Working alongside the international team, you will be responsible for designing and developing moderately complex structures and sheet metal components, ensuring they meet stringent performance, durability, quality, and serviceability standards. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key to optimizing designs for production while ensuring alignment with the broader project goals.

Your Impact:

Assist in designing and developing structures and sheet metal components.

Support finite element analysis and validation plans.

Prepare technical documentation and manage engineering changes (EPDM or similar tools preferred).

Participate in design reviews with cross-functional teams (Quality, Manufacturing, Purchasing, etc.).

Contribute to product validation and testing activities.

Your Experience and Qualifications:

Education: A Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred. However, candidates with a Bachelor’s degree or a Diploma (Perito) will also be considered.

Experience: 3–5 years of experience in mechanical engineering is required, with a background in agricultural machinery and equipment.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in solid modelling (ProE preferred), MS Office tools, drawing layouts, and GD&T methodology is essential.

Design Expertise: Extensive experience in the design and development of sheet metal and fabricated steel structures, including welded and bolted assemblies and mechanical components.

Additional Requirements: Strong problem-solving skills, a positive and collaborative attitude, fluency in English and Italian, and willingness to participate in field test activities across European countries to investigate concerns, identify resolutions, and report results.

Your Workplace:

After completing the initial onboarding period, you will become eligible for a hybrid working model consisting of 3 days onsite at our Breganze location and 2 days of remote work per week.
