Actuator Fluid Control s.r.l in Lombardy, Italy is seeking a Design and Application Engineer with 3–6 years in actuation. You will design and validate pneumatic/hydraulic components, create 2D/3D models, and support customers with technical solutions. Responsibilities include translating specs into drawings, developing cost-effective quotations, and ensuring timely project delivery. Fluency in Italian and English is preferred, with a degree in mechanical/Instrumentation engineering.

• Take ownership and demonstrate initiative and problem-solving.
• Review orders for conformance to quotations and resolve differences.
• Support project delivery with technical input and documentation.

Experience is a must, required experience in the actuation industry has to be between: 3 – 6 years!

A Design and Application Engineer is an experienced innovator in design and analysis of pneumatic & hydraulic components and related mechanical equipment. You shall be capable of managing the design and qualification portions of multiple engineering programs simultaneously. You must be able to create design concepts that meet customer-specified requirements and then develop these concepts into feasible designs. Responsibilities

• Translate customer specifications and project requirements into detailed engineering drawings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to develop and present cost-effective quotations to customers, demonstrating technical expertise.
• Provide pre-sales technical support by clarifying customer requirements and offering solutions for valve automation needs.
• Design and develop 2D and 3D models of valve automation packages and actuators using software like AutoCAD or Inventor.
• Design and develop 2D and 3D models actuators control systems, starting from operating diagram and components selection
• Work effectively with other team members to ensure smooth project workflow and timely delivery.
• Take ownership of your work, demonstrating initiative, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Select, size and price actuators & control system that conform to customers’ requirements.
• Review incoming orders for conformance to quotation and resolve any differences to ensure smooth order entry.
