Lead with excellence and a collaborative spirit as a Delivery Lead at Avanade, where every project is a step towards success and client satisfaction.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Delivery Lead to oversee projects in one of the following industries: Industrial, Consumer Goods, Retail, or Life Sciences. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and aligned with the strategic objectives of the organization. This role requires proven experience in leading projects within the industry, a deep understanding of processes and methodologies, strong leadership skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
Client Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong, long‑lasting relationships.
  • Understand client needs and requirements and ensure these are effectively communicated to the delivery team.
  • Regularly update clients on project progress, manage expectations, and address any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Collaborate with Sales Accounts to develop business with the client.
Project Delivery
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Develop detailed project plans, allocate resources, and manage the delivery schedule.
  • Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, reporting on progress and any necessary adjustments.
Team Leadership
  • Oversee a team of project managers, coordinators, and other delivery staff.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and high‑performance culture within the team.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities for improving delivery processes and implement best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
Risk Management
  • Identify potential risks to project success and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and manage project risks and issues, escalating them as necessary.
Industry Knowledge
  • Understand the competitive landscape and emerging technologies that impact the sector.
  • Anticipate client needs and identify new business opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
  • 5-7 years of experience in project management, delivery management, or a related role, within the industry.
  • Proven experience managing system integration projects.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
