Job summary

Amazon Web Services Hong Kong Limited is seeking an experienced Delivery Consultant - Security to lead security engagements, design secure AWS solutions, and guide customers through governance, development, operations, and response. You will build prototypes and deliver durable, production-grade deployments with strong security and reliability.

You will mentor teams, collaborate with executives and engineers, and drive security as a core value across engagements, with a focus on scalable cloud

At AWS, we're hiring an experienced Security Consulting professional to help our customers and partners develop technical expertise and capacity, and to work with our partners on key customer engagements.

Our consultants deliver security advice, architecture guidance, and security engineering; lead proof-of-concept projects; and deliver customer engagements. AWS consultants collaborate with customers to address security risk, achieve security outcomes, and implement and migrate customer solutions and workloads to the cloud. AWS consultants also have a drive to continue to learn and improve, including coaching and mentoring others.

This role specialises in all aspects of information and cyber security management, as well as business and regulatory compliance using cloud services in large-scale computing environments.

Key job responsibilities

• Act as the technical leader for customer engagements, particularly the security workstreams, with the technical depth to work hands-on to design, build, and unblock delivery.
• Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions, helping customers apply AI and agents across the security lifecycle, from governance and secure development to operations and response, and secure their own generative and agentic AI workloads.
• Build demos and prototypes that prove value quickly, then take them through to durable, production-grade deployments with the security, reliability, and operability customers need.
• Engage and communicate effectively from customer executives to engineering teams, explaining security risk in business terms for executives and in technical detail for engineers.
• Lead internal security initiatives that deliver quantifiable impact, and develop strategic relationships with internal and external security leaders.
• Enable and engage delivery partners to support secure project delivery and drive adoption of security best practices.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to develop others in cloud security, compliance, and risk management.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
• External or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management experience
• 3+ years of experience in two or more of the following: application security frameworks, identity and access controls, incident response, agentic AI security, threat intelligence, and penetration testing

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience and technical expertise (design and implementation) in cloud computing technologies
• Experience leading the design and implementation of security controls, detection engineering, or incident response at scale
• CISSP, CISA, CISM or other security certification, or GCIH (GIAC Certified Incident Handler) or GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials) or Security+
• Experience in web security, or experience in Kubernetes, Docker or containers ecosystem and experience with threat modeling and penetration testing
• 3+ years of hands‑on work developing security solutions through traditional scripting or agentic coding approaches experience
