The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team seeks a skilled Delivery Consultant to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet customer technical and business objectives. You will be a key player driving customer success, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies.
• Act as a trusted advisor on industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and reusable artifacts.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in cloud architecture and implementation.
• 3+ years design, implementation, consulting experience with distributed applications.
• 3+ years software development tools and methodologies.
• Active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with polygraph.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS experience with proficiency in services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation.
• Professional level AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional).
• Experience with automation scripting (Terraform, Python).
• Knowledge of security/compliance (HIPAA, GDPR).
• Strong communication skills for technical and non‑technical audiences.
• 5+ years in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, networking, and technology/software sales consulting.
• Professional experience deploying, operating solutions on AWS, including migration to cloud and federal government security requirements.

Location: Must work from one of the specified locations or customer sites at least 1+ days a week; this is not a remote position.

Security clearance requirement: must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, and opt into a commensurate clearance for each government agency served.

Benefits: Amazon offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, parental leave, and more. Base salary range for this position: Colorado $131,300–$177,600; National $118,200–$204,300.
