Job summary

NTT DATA Europe & Latam seeks a Databricks Expert to bridge Data Science and Data Engineering in a cloud native setting. You will work with business analysts and solution architects to understand use cases, deliver data preparation, and ensure data is ready for analytics and ML models.

Qualifications

• Cloud native experience in at least one major public cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Big Data architectures knowledge, cloud and on premise.
• Azure infrastructure and networking experience.
• Proven ability to deliver proofs-of-concept addressing business needs.
• Experience migrating workloads from on premise to cloud.
• Monitoring distributed infrastructure with Azure tools or open source (Grafana/Prometheus).
• Proven experience in Java, Scala, Python, and shell scripting.
• SQL knowledge.
• Experience leading medium teams.
• Experience with Spark, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse and related ETL/ELT tools.
• Microsoft certifications on Azure or Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Support customers in Big Data projects, partnering with analysts and solution architects.
• Deliver data acquisition, transformations, cleansing, conversion, compression and loading into data lakes.
• Enable analytics and machine learning models with prepared data.
