The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SQL Server and a solid background in developing Data Warehouse solutions, alongside proficiency in Power BI. On behalf of an innovative company operating within the Energy & Utilities sector, we are looking for a Data Warehouse Engineer to join the IT Digital & Data Analytics team.

The selected professional will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Data Warehouse solutions based on Microsoft SQL Server, as well as creating reporting and dashboard solutions using Power BI, contributing to the ongoing evolution of the company’s data architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize Data Warehouse solutions on Microsoft SQL Server.
• Implement and manage ETL/ELT processes using SSIS or equivalent tools.
• Develop and maintain stored procedures, views, functions, and SQL jobs.
• Monitor and tune performance for optimal query efficiency.
• Integrate new data sources and support the migration of legacy systems.
• Build interactive reports and dashboards with Power BI (including DAX).
• Collaborate with BI teams, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Coordinate with external consultants to support the evolution of the data architecture.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across all environments.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server (2016 or newer).
• Strong proficiency in T-SQL and query optimization.
• Experience with SSIS or equivalent ETL tools.
• Solid background in Data Warehouse and Data Mart modeling.
• Hands‑on experience with Reporting Services and Power BI (reports, dashboards, datasets, DAX).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Azure SQL Database, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, or Synapse.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Familiarity with data governance and data quality principles.

Compensation: Up to €50,000 + bonus and benefits.
